Hell yeah, there are already several inbuild burning options in osx per default. But i must admit its kinda strange. You can use Disk Utility, Finder, specific burn-folders, itunes ……what a mess.

Personally i prefer a specific burning application to do everything.

Today i found SimplyBurns

It comes with audio and data project, duplication mode, burn image mode, and disc ripping mode.

Capturing actions on a computer makes sense for sure. Unfortunally there are many paid-software solution.

Jing is a free solution for both platforms (Windows & mac)

Basiclly it can capture images and create videos

Quote from macupdate.com

Jing is a screen capture application that allows you to select and capture parts of your screen and save that area as a static picture or even a movie.

Then you can add arrows, text and box highlights to draw further attention to the area you want to highlight.

The thing that makes Jing unique is that it has a “share” button, which allows you to share the image or video with a friend by connecting to the free screencast.com image hosting solution. Click share, it uploads your media behind the scenes, and places the link to the screen

Video about the app can be found here.

Today i stumbled upon the-cloak.com which is described as:

The Cloak sits between your computer and any web sites you visit. It prevents the web sites you visit from finding out who you are. And it can use the standard SSL protocol to encrypt all communication from your browser, so that no one (except for the-Cloak) knows where you are surfing.

more about that service on the project faq.

Main features:

  • HTTP and HTTPS anonymous proxy: hide your identity from the sites you visit
  • Encrypted connection: hide your surfing from local snooping
  • Remote cookies: keep cookies at our site, and delete them after each session
  • User configurable content filtration: selectively remove Javascript, Java, and active content
  • FREE anonymous browsing … just read our terms, privacy policy, and abuse policy and start surfing
  • Need more bandwidth than the free service provides? Check out our pay service.
